Geraldine was born in Louisville, the oldest of four girls. She moved to Jeffersonville in the early 1960s as a new bride and relied on her trusty Ladies Home Journal Cookbook for recipes to cook for family and friends.
When she became a single mom, she modeled faith, hard work, and the importance of family to her four children. While times were lean at first, she was determined to fill their home with love and joy. As she taught them to prepare meals, she passed on her love of cooking and entertaining. This menu is a testament to her.
Geraldine left her family too soon, but her legacy remains. Our menu reflects some of her favorites, food inspired by the different places she lived later in her life, and recipes she would have clipped and saved to serve for family gatherings. We hope you enjoy meals in our “kitchen” just like we did in hers.
Bob is pursuing his lifelong dream of owning a restaurant, having learned to cook at a young age. His love for serving the best food and making sure everyone has a great time is evident in all he prepares.
Christa lends her experience as a waitress, restaurant reviewer, food magazine editor, public relations director, and social media director. You may also see her working in the dining room on occasion.
